The title is not a typo, so please don’t let it distract you. This is indeed about our shadow shelves. It is inspired by my observation of them.
I read an online discussion about trauma, and how to treat it with the use of therapy. People were saying that trauma cannot be healed, you can only learn how to manage it. That didn’t resonate with me.
How could it be that we live on an Earth that tells us that we have problems without solutions? That doesn’t make sense. Every problem has a solution. Every ailment has a remedy. Every trauma can be released.
But…..
- It’s not going to be easy.
- It’s not going to be instant.
- It’s going to take more than one approach depending on the person and the circumstances.
- It’s not going to come without obstacles and interference.
- It’s not going to happen without recognizing the multidimensional aspects of trauma.
- It’s not going to happen if the time is not rightly aligned.
Also, there needs to be an inner gnoing that it’s not possible to receive a benevolent solution from a malevolent source. There solution will not come from our shadow shelves where we have stored all of these beliefs, routines, and acceptances of distortions and tyranny.
On this Earth….
Our energy has been distorted.
Our knowledge has been distorted.
Our processes have been distorted.
We have accepted irresponsibility as a normal state. We think we are not responsible for ourselves because we are not qualified to do so. We have accepted that others know us better than we can know ourselves simply because they are “learned”.
That shadow shelf needs to be cleaned off and restored; for the answers that we seek will always be found within. There may be others to help light the path, to guide us, to facilitate certain experiences for us …but what we need comes from within. Anyone telling us otherwise is misguided, and likely trying to hoard some type of power.
If there was no way to heal from emotional trauma – that wouldn’t be life! That would be a culture of death! That would be perpetual slavery to dense energies and unseen forces.
Healing is a lifelong process for many. It’s not something that’s “done”. Until everyone is free there is always something to heal. There is always something to clear. But, on a personal level it starts with knowing that there is a way to heal our emotions, and then finding the determination to seek out the solutions that resonate with our inner being.
“The medicine for my suffering I had within me from the very beginning but I did not take it. My ailment came from within myself, but I did not observe it, until this moment. Now I see that I will never find the light unless, like the candle, I am my own fuel, consuming myself.” – Bruce Lee
