Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and an aspect of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in which thin needles are inserted into the body. Acupuncture is often accompanied by moxibustion which is the burning of dried mugwort on certain points of the body. Acupuncture can be used for emotional release.

Acupressure

Acupressure is a treatment where pressure is applied to acupuncture points with the aim of clearing blockages in the meridians. This method is non-invasive and you can learn to do-it-yourself. Aromatherapy

Bibliotherapy is the use of books or storytelling to support mental wellness. There are many online resources such as this bibliotherapy reading list , this list of  book prescriptions by topic, and these recommendations for children  

Breathwork

Breathwork is a type of breathing exercise or technique designed to optimize one’s physical, spiritual, and/or emotional health.

Chromotherapy

Chromotherapy is also called color therapy. It uses color and light to adjust the body’s vibration in order to reach specific goals in physical and emotional health. One of the easiest ways to get started with this is by using color therapy glasses. (Color therapy glasses should not be worn while driving or operating heavy machinery.)

Crystal Healing

Crystal Healing is the process of using crystals to help with energy work. Crystals have unique properties that effect frequency and vibration. They are commonly used for spiritual healing, protection, and emotional health. Crystals can be used to communicate, transmit information, and store frequency information. Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy uses light touch to move fluids around the nervous system. It can be used for physical pain and discomfort, but it also can help with emotional release.

EMDR

EMDR – (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) uses eye movements to reduce trauma symptoms by changing how your memories are stored in your brain.

This is not for everyone, one must take responsibility for their own wellness and find out if it resonates. Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT- Emotional Freedom Technique helps to manage pain and emotional distress by tapping on the acupuncture meridians. This is a good technique for those who prefer self-care models. (See: EFT)

Flower Essences

Feldenkrais Method is a somatic method to help people reconnect with their bodies. It may also help with overall well-being.

Guided Imagery
