I thought I was just going to have a cup of tea, but it turned into an experience.
I took out a teabag and was touched with the most pleasant aroma. It was a wonderful surprise. I quickly poured the hot water into my cup as I was curious about how it would taste.
I was pleasantly pleased with its sweet and calming flavor. It reminded me of inner peace. It reminded me that everything was okay. It reminded me that friends were looking out for me – after all, why did I even buy that tea? I have tons of teas and not enough time or thirst to drink them all. Yet I saw a box and had to get it.
So here I was in the middle of the most intense energies, yet I was having an experience of peace, calm, and friendly knowing. I was surrounded by gratitude all because I made a cup of jasmine tea. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The wisdom revealed within this experience shows that when the going gets tough, find something to be thankful for and hold onto it. Let it coat your senses like a Divine grace bestowing benevolent blessings. Let it empower you to know that you are loved and cared for even in the most trying of times. May that gratitude connect you to your higher senses and awareness of that which you truly are – the eternal self – free, whole, and Divine.
And so it is.
