Virtual EMDR – EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a treatment to help people lessen the emotional impact of certain events or feelings. According to the website, EMDR is used to treat “Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), trauma, depression, grief, phobias, social anxiety (agoraphobia) and panic disorders. It has also been used on anger control, attachment, and body image disorders.”
I started using this service when I was going through an extremely stressful period in life. It helped me to remain calm and centered. Later on, I used it to help with processing a particular event that I found to be unsettling. I was happy that after one session I felt so much better. 
This service allows you have EMDR sessions from the privacy of your home in your own time. There is often a lot of gatekeeping around EMDR as it’s not seen as something that one can do without a facilitator. However, I am able to hold space for myself so I don’t need a facilitator to hold space for me, but everyone is different. Know yourself and your limits. This service explains everything clearly, and I feel it’s worth using if EMDR resonates with you. They also offer coaching if you need it, but it’s not required.
